1. Can you make custom sizes or multiple shelves for my project?
Yes. Contact us with the quantity, length, depth, thickness, wood, and finish you have in mind. Photos or a simple sketch help us review your project and prepare a custom quote.
2. What are the shelves made from?
Our floating shelves use white oak or walnut 0.75" real wood with seamless mitered construction to create a hollow shelf that conceals the mounting support.
3. How do the floating shelves attach to the wall?
Our wood mounting support is concealed inside the shelf. The back rail attaches to wall studs, and the shelf fits over the support arms. Bracket configuration varies by shelf size. Follow the installation instructions for your order and have your installer confirm suitable support for your wall.
4. How much weight can a shelf hold?
Capacity depends on shelf dimensions, mounting support, wall construction, and installation. Contact us before ordering if you plan to display heavy items such as dishes, bottles, or books. We do not publish a universal weight rating for every shelf.
5. How do I measure for niche or alcove shelves?
Measure the opening at the front, middle, and back at each planned shelf height, and note any differences. Walls are often uneven or out of square. Send us your measurements and photos before ordering so we can review the fit and required clearance.
6. Will the wood and finish look exactly like the photos?
Natural wood varies in grain and color, and lighting and screens affect how finishes appear. Photos show examples rather than an exact match. If you are coordinating with cabinetry, flooring, or other woodwork, send us photos before ordering so we can help you choose a finish.
7. How do the hardwired LED shelves work?
An LED driver converts standard 120V household power to the 12V DC power required by our hardwired shelf lights. Low-voltage wiring carries power from the driver to the shelf lighting. Non-lit products do not require electrical power.
8. Is an LED driver included?
We do not sell or include drivers with our hardwired LED shelves, these are widely available and should be sources by you or your electrician to purchase a compatible 12V DC constant-voltage LED driver separately. The correct model must match the lighting voltage, total wattage, and planned controls. We can provide the lighting wattage for your selected shelf lengths.
9. Can the LED shelves use a wall switch or dimmer?
A wall switch or dimming setup can be planned with your electrician. Dimming requires compatible lighting, driver, and dimmer components; not every driver supports dimming. Confirm the complete setup with your electrician before purchasing components.
10. What should my builder plan before electrical rough-in?
Ask your builder and licensed electrician to plan the power supply, concealed low-voltage wiring to each shelf, an accessible driver location, and any switching or dimming controls. We can provide the shelf lighting specifications. Your electrician determines the compatible components and installation requirements.
11. How long will production and shipping take?
Please allow up to 10 business days for production. Larger or highly customized orders may take longer. Shipping typically takes another 5–8 business days after shipment, and tracking is provided when your order ships. Contact us before ordering if you have a project deadline.
12. Where do you ship, and how much does shipping cost?
We ship within the United States. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on order value and destination. Large or oversized orders may require additional delivery arrangements.
13. Can I change, cancel, or return my order?
Contact us immediately if you need a change. Custom and made-to-order items are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or cancellations once production has begun. Review your measurements and selections carefully before ordering.
14. What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the product and packaging. We will work with you to repair, replace, or otherwise resolve an eligible issue at no additional cost when appropriate.
